Tess practices exclusively in Family Law.  Prior to joining our team, Tess spent three years working as an Associate for a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia hearing matters exclusively in Family Law. Tess advises in all areas of Family Law with a particular interest in threshold applications and complex parenting matters including relocation and allegations of family violence or risk, to parties and / or their children. Alongside Family Law, Tess has a passion for and advises on adoption and domestic and international surrogacy. Tess has previously volunteered with South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA) providing advocacy for victim / survivors of sexual assault and family violence. 

Tess strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients by approaching all her matters prudently, combining a pragmatic and compassionate approach whilst always acknowledging and respecting her clients’ lived experiences.

Qualifications, Committees & Memberships

  • Holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (History and Criminology)

  • Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia
